Maintenance Formula is designed to improve the nutrition of your Alpacas
or Llamas who are either overweight, in normal body condition or where
your Veterinary Surgeon has recommended a lower protein diet.
Camelid Complete Maintenance Formula (12% protein) will allow your
Alpaca/Llama to benefit from this superior nutrition without adding to the
known problems associated with obesity. This Formula is also suitable for
all Alpacas and Llamas in good body condition including pregnant females
during the first and second trimester of pregnancy.
100-150† grams of Maintenance Formula will provide a balanced intake
of essential vitamins & minerals whilst allowing over 95% of the diet to
be fed as forage e.g. grass or hay.
† Recommended Maximum Feeding Weight per Day : 150g
Adults: 120g-150g
Young growing Alpacas or Llamas require a higher level of protein to aid
healthy growth.
